Compare seven 800 × 600 mm half-pallet constructions

The models currently listed share an 800 × 600 mm footprint. Compare deck boards, runners and the timber thickness stated for each item with the goods, support points and lifting equipment. The same footprint does not make two constructions interchangeable.

Confirm the load for the complete handling flow

Choose the construction for the way the goods are supported, lifted and stored. Deck-board count, runner count and footprint alone do not determine the permitted load. Tell GLF the goods’ weight, weight distribution, support points and whether the pallet will be stacked or stored in racking. Ask for the permitted load for the supplied design and actual handling arrangement.

Specify treatment and marking for the destination

Five of the model designations above refer to ISPM 15. Treatment and marking for items 1124 and 1152 are specified for the order. Confirm the heat treatment and IPPC marking of the supplied pallets for the relevant destination and transport flow. A product name does not by itself verify the treatment and marking of a particular delivery. Use the ISPM 15 export guide to prepare the route and material requirements.

Check the pallet, collar and lid together

If the goods need sides or a cover, compare the half-pallet collar with a wooden lid, plywood lid or chipboard lid. Confirm fit, clearances, securing and any stacking requirements for the complete unit. A common 800 × 600 mm designation does not establish that every combination is suitable.

Prepare a model-specific enquiry

Send the item number, goods dimensions and weight, handling equipment, storage arrangement, destination and quantity. Include any collar, lid, treatment or marking requirements so GLF can confirm the configuration and quotation.
