Meet Freddy Prahl, an important part of GLF’s production team.
At the heart of our production at GLF are employees who ensure everything runs smoothly – one of them is Freddy Prahl. With over five years at the company, he has become a key player in production, working daily with everything from hand nailing and assembly to forklift operation and quality control.
But what does a production role at GLF really entail? What are the biggest challenges, and what makes Freddy enjoy working at GLF so much? We sat down with him to get a glimpse into his daily work life.
One day in production
“I do a bit of everything in the factory,” Freddy says with a smile. The variety is something he appreciates – no two days are ever the same.
His day often starts with preparing materials and ensuring everything is in place for an efficient production process. Right now, he’s working with a new saw, a challenge he welcomes:
“The key is to minimize downtime and make the machines run as efficiently as possible. Solving problems is part of the job, and that’s something I really enjoy.”
Motivation and Challenges
Every workday brings new challenges – but for Freddy, it’s precisely these that make the job exciting.
“It’s very rewarding when we achieve our goals. If we have a high order volume and we work together to deliver, that feels really great!”
