Producing Our Own Energy – Responsibility in Practice

Did you know that GLF produces as much as 40 percent of its own electricity? Our investment in self-produced renewable energy is a cornerstone of our sustainability work, clearly demonstrating our commitment. By generating our own renewable energy—such as through solar panels on our buildings and facilities—we not only secure a stable energy supply but significantly reduce our carbon footprint.

For us, producing our own energy is about taking control of our environmental responsibility and actively contributing to the energy transition. 100 Percent Renewable Energy

The remaining 60 percent of our electricity needs, which we don’t produce ourselves, comes exclusively from renewable sources: solar, wind, and hydropower. This means that every kilowatt-hour we consume at GLF is guaranteed green and sustainable. For us, it’s essential that our entire business is conducted with care for the planet and future generations. Choosing renewable energy is a critical part of our efforts to reduce our total carbon footprint and strengthen our role as a sustainability pioneer.
